 Opening Sequence Script

Scene 1

- No dialogue

Scene 2

-  Friend on phone: "Hey its been a long time"

- Juan: "I know, i've been so busy with school and all, its been three years since I was last down here"

- Friend on phone: " Wait your back down here? We should totally do something today"

-Juan: "Im going to be busy unpacking but, if you want you can come to my house to hang out"

- Friend on phone "For sure, Im on my way"

Scene 3

- No dialogue

Scene 4

- Juan: "I swear people are getting weirder and weirder these days"

- Juan: "But anyways where should I start?"

Scene 5

No dialogue

Scene 6

-Friend: "Hey man!"

-Juan: "I was wondering when you were coming"

-Friend: " Yeah sorry, I had to take care of some things before I came"

-Juan: "Its fine, come on in"

Scene 7

- Friend: "You know I just encountered the weirdest person on my way up here"

- Juan: "your lying you too! someone with a mask right?"

- Friend: "Yeah! you know them?"

-Juan: "No I have no clue who they are, they must be some another weirdo living here you know after the prices went down and bad people moved in when that family got murdered"

- Friend: "oh yeah I forgot about that its just crazy, I wonder who did it and why?

- Juan: "enough talking about that how have you been?" 

- Friend: Grea-

Knocking sound

- Friend: "Who was that?"

- Juan "No one. Must have been an accident"

- Friend: "Strange"

Scene 8

Knocking sound again 

-Friend: "I got it"

-Juan: "Ok thanks"

-Juan: "Well who was it"

-Juan: "Hello? 

-Juan: "Who was at the door?"

Scene 9

Friend gasping for air

-Juan: "ARE YOU OK?"

-Juan: "PLEASE STAY AWAKE. DON'T DIE, HELP IS ON THE WAY."

-Juan: "PLEASE" 

Scene 10

No dialogue

Scene 11

-Juan: "Stop!"

-Juan: "Who are you? why did you kill him?

Scene 12

No dialogue

Scene 13 

-Juan: "How?"

-Juan: "You where just over there"

Scene 14 

No dialogue

Scene 15 

-Juan: "This can be happening"

-Juan: "Why me"

-Juan: "How I thought you died"

-Friend: "Run"

Scene 16

Juan runs, trips and falls

-Juan: "aaaah!"

Scene 17

No dialogue

Shooting script

Scene 1: 

-Juan just arrived to his old apartment complex. He looks around to an unfamiliar familiar place where he grew. He gives an unsure look as he gets his things. Camera will show different angles of him in his surrounding. 

- Lighting used is natural lighting from outside.

- eerie music played in the background 

Scene 2: 

- Juan is standing at the bottom of the stars. Before he starts going up his phone rings.

- Juan looks curious to see who is calling him. 

- After seeing its his childhood best-friend, Juan smiles and picks up the phone

- The sound used is the ringing of the phone and the voice over of the friend on the other side

Scene 3:

- Juan starts walking up the stares. camera would track him as he goes up.

- When he reaches up the stares he notices a strange person hiding and is starring at him with a mask on. The camera will zoom in the strangers face then switch to show Juans reaction.

- Juan is startled feeling creeped out, he starts walking awkwardly fast to avoid any other strange interactions. The camera will pan in a mid-shot as he walks to his apartment. 

- eerie sound will play when the strangers is shown.

Scene 4:  

- Before Juan enters, he finally reacts to his encounters but, looks pass it giving a sigh

- Juan walks into his apartment. Seeing all the boxes he has left, he gives off a stress look but, determined to finish it before his friend comes.

Scene 5:

- The camera will then show outside during the night, this while represent the passing of time. During this mid-shots of the apartment complex will be shown

- Diegetic Sound: cricket sounds will be played showing its late at night

Scene 6: 

- Diegetic sound: Knocking at the door

- Juan goes to the door opening it up to see his friend. Both of them smile and hug as they greet each other for the first time in a long time.

-The camera while be in an over the shoulder shot for both of them, showing their faces. As they hug it will switch to a mid-shot

Scene 7:

- Mid-shot will be shown of both of them sitting down having a conversation.

- This mid-shot will continue until their conversation is disrupted. 

Diegetic sound: knocking at door, the camera will show a mid shot of the door as Juan get up to open it.

- When opening it and seeing no one out there, Juan peeks is head out looking around with a curious face.

Scene 8:

- The camera switches back to another mid-shot inside the apartment but, this time of Juan washing his hands inside the bathroom.

- Diegetic Sound: Knocking at door

- Juan rushing to wash his hands hears his friend saying he can get it.

- After a while Juan begin to have a curious look wondering who it was 

- Juan speaks out of the bathroom asking who it was as his voice and face get more concerning

Scene 9: 

- Juan finally peaks his head out of the bathroom with a concern face having no answer.

- Non Diegetic Sound: intense eery sound will play

- Juan seeing the weird stranger from earlier is frozen in fear as he ask his friend if he is ok.

- Non Diegetic sound: intense eerie sound played again, showing the stranger run away and also as his friend turns around falling as he shows Juan that he is bleeding out.

-Juan rushed to his friend catching him mid fall as he begin to cry telling his friend to not die

Scene 10:

- Non Diegetic Sound: intense eerie music begins to play

- Juan panicked, runs to find the stranger

Scene 11:

- Being out of breath, Juan finally reaches the stranger as starts asking him questions.

- Camera will have High angle showing Juan following the strangers back.

Scene 12:

- Non Diegetic Sound: Intense eerie music begins to play again

- Close shot of Juan foot stepping back as he is shocked of fear

- Camera switches to mid-shot showing the Stranger turn quickly facing Juan with a bloody knife 

- Juan then begins to run, hearing the knife moving along the railing

Scene 13: 

- Low angle the camera shows Juan running down the stairs, seeing the stranger again 

- With fear in his face Juan is shocked again as he seeing the stranger following him up stairs

Scene 14: 

-Non Diegetic sound: Intense eerie music

- Close shot of Juan hiding behind the street, covering this mouth to remain silent so that the stranger or strangers wont find him

Scene 15: 

- Mid shot of the strangers finding Juan, Juan backs up in fear.

-Juan seeing two strangers now ask questions in fear noticing that one of them is his friend that he thought was killed as they remove their mask.

Scene 16:

Non Diegetic Sound: Intense eerie music

- Juan begins to run again but trips and falls over the root of the tree

- Long shot of the stranger and his friends standing over Juan as Juan screams

Scene 17: 

Non Diegetic sound: eerie music played

The Camera cuts to black having the Title card pop up

Scene 18

Diegetic Sound- eerie whistling sound

Mid-shot of friend standing in front of mirror inside the bathroom washing the blood off his knife.

  Schedule: 3/1/21- 3/2/21:   Actors will revive script and storyboard. This will give the actors time to take in the film and understand what they will do and prepare for their roles. During this time the actors will be able to ask any questions about the film and eliminate any confusion before filming. 3/3/21 All props and costumes will be gathered in order to prepare for filming to begin. Starting the Final Task

 My name is Juan Guerrero, I am currently in the 11th grade at Fort Lauderdale High School. I have taken four Aice classes including the classes i'm taking this year. If I pass all my Aice classes this year, I would be reward my Aice diploma. This school year I decided to take Aice Media Studies to explore the process of filming. Currently, I have expected everything from this course, challenging us to create film with including filming techniques like camera angles. So far, I have created 2 videos composing of a commercial and a music video. Now getting close to the end of the school year and near the Aice exams, I have been challenged with creating the final task. In this final task, I am suppose to create the introduction of a film only being the first two minutes of it. Enhancement in Filming and Editing

Being that this project was the second official filming project I had, their definitely things I changed during and after I finished the project. Although I knew I was happy with the results, there was still for improvement and with the time I had left before the music video was truly due thats what I did. If I felt that a scene should be reshot or edited more thats what I did. By doing this, I would make my film look better as I improved the shots took and the smoothness of the film. I believe making these changes truly helped my film as developed the storyline. One of the main reasons why I decided to change a few scenes is because of how I felt with them. Looking over the film and being "ok" with a scene didn't fit right with me and thats why I decided to change it by redoing them to improve camera quality and camera angles to better fit the screen.
