The Story of Juan: Part 1

 Hello, my name is Juan Carlos Guerrero and I am in the 11th grade at Fort Lauderdale High. Before I talk about my present self and the academics i'm taking right now, heres some information about me. I was born in Dallas, Texas and I moved to Florida when I was 9 years old with my family that consist of my dad, mom, two sisters, and two brothers. I also have two dogs, which are a husky named Max and a Rottweiler named Mason who I think are the funniest. One major part of my life that I enjoy right now are sports and I really enjoy playing and watching them as I find it entertaining. Being a competitive person, the competition sports bring is exciting to me. The two main sports I enjoy are Basketball and Football and the best teams our the Mavericks and the Steelers. Another thing I have fun doing is hanging out with my friends either by going out somewhere or just playing video games, I enjoy the time I spend with them. Beside my personal life, I always to do things that are better for myself and my future self, and thats why I take my academics serious. Taking my education seriously means that I pick the course that will help me in the future and get into a good University. I have already completed four Aice course with include Aice General Paper, Aice English Language, and Aice Global Perspective. Currently I am taking three Aice classes which would be the last credits required to complete my Cambridge diploma. I choose this course because I seems like a fun course to takes as you get to learn about film making and all the things that are behind the film and being an Aice course is a bonus. I enjoy watching movies and knowing how to make them and learn why directors setup their scenes and film the way they did interest me. The reason why I take my education serious is because of all the things my parent have done for me. I feel that I owe it to them to get accepted to a good university since they sacrificed a lot to put me in the place i'm at in my life. Moving to a different country rising 5 kids and trying to give them the best education they can seems like a lot of hardships which helps me push through school and the classes I take. Right now I am unsure what I want my career to be but, one thing I am sure of is that I will work hard enough to setup my family as they mean the most to me. Just like everyone I am unsure what the future holds for me but, hopefully it is bright. With that being said this is my story so far and I hope to add a lot more to it.

  Schedule: 3/1/21- 3/2/21:   Actors will revive script and storyboard. This will give the actors time to take in the film and understand what they will do and prepare for their roles. During this time the actors will be able to ask any questions about the film and eliminate any confusion before filming. 3/3/21 All props and costumes will be gathered in order to prepare for filming to begin. Starting the Final Task

 My name is Juan Guerrero, I am currently in the 11th grade at Fort Lauderdale High School. I have taken four Aice classes including the classes i'm taking this year. If I pass all my Aice classes this year, I would be reward my Aice diploma. This school year I decided to take Aice Media Studies to explore the process of filming. Currently, I have expected everything from this course, challenging us to create film with including filming techniques like camera angles. So far, I have created 2 videos composing of a commercial and a music video. Now getting close to the end of the school year and near the Aice exams, I have been challenged with creating the final task. In this final task, I am suppose to create the introduction of a film only being the first two minutes of it. Enhancement in Filming and Editing

Being that this project was the second official filming project I had, their definitely things I changed during and after I finished the project. Although I knew I was happy with the results, there was still for improvement and with the time I had left before the music video was truly due thats what I did. If I felt that a scene should be reshot or edited more thats what I did. By doing this, I would make my film look better as I improved the shots took and the smoothness of the film. I believe making these changes truly helped my film as developed the storyline. One of the main reasons why I decided to change a few scenes is because of how I felt with them. Looking over the film and being "ok" with a scene didn't fit right with me and thats why I decided to change it by redoing them to improve camera quality and camera angles to better fit the screen.
