Planning of my Wilson X Gatorade Commercial

 After the research of the brands and products was finished I then set up a plan/outline based off of props, costumes, set, location and backup plan I need moving forward. This step was very important because this plan will help me know what I need and what I'll do during that time. This would keep everything organized, so that I can use my time wisely and not waste it while filming. This outline would also help me if theres a situation where I wouldn't be able to film, so that i'm not lost and I can keep moving forward along the project and not make it look rushed. Thus, this plan will guide me through this project and make it be the best it can be.

Props:

In this Wilson X Gatorade Commercial the two main props that are going to be the main center piece of the commercial are Wilsons Evolution basketball and Gatorade sports drink. This commercial will revolve around these two product as it is going to be the main focus in advertisement. These two product will be the only props used in this commercial.   

Costumes:

In this commercial the main costume will be athletic attire and basketball shoes. The reason behind this is because we want to make it seem that a basketball player/ athlete is practicing hard and trying to get better in basketball. The athlete would wear basketball shorts, t-shirt, and basketball shoes to make it seem that he actually is training and he can look the part. This costume will be used all thought the commercial.

Schedule:

On 10/22/20 I will research about the conventions used in commercials and websites on the products of a Wilson Evolution basketball and a Gatorade sports drink.

On 10/23/20 I will create a plan that will help me determine all the details of this commercial. These details will consist of what props I use, what costumes the actors will wear, whats the location I'll be filming the commercial, and my backup plan if needed.

On 10/27/20 I will have created a storyboard that will tell what events will be going on in my commercial. This will help me direct/film the commercial and establish the scenes.

On 10/28/20 I will have finished filming and gathered all my shots needed to edit the commercial.

On 10/30/20 I will have edited the commercial making it look smooth and nice, which will conclude my finish edited commercial and final product of the project.

Location:

The main location I have in mined is at the park (George English Park) because it is the perfect setting as it is quite, not a lot of people are there, and the basketball court is good. This park and basketball court will fully capture the essence of someone practicing and becoming better.

Backup plan:

Since the location of where the commercial is being filmed is an outside basketball court, the weather and population may effect the filming process as we wouldn't be able to film if it was raining or if to many people where there as it would create to much noise. This is why if this happens, our second location would be an inside basketball court. This would still give the same message of becoming better as its still being filmed at a basketball court.

Starting the Final Task

 My name is Juan Guerrero, I am currently in the 11th grade at Fort Lauderdale High School. I have taken four Aice classes including the classes i'm taking this year. If I pass all my Aice classes this year, I would be reward my Aice diploma. This school year I decided to take Aice Media Studies to explore the process of filming. Enhancement in Filming and Editing

Being that this project was the second official filming project I had, their definitely things I changed during and after I finished the project. Although I knew I was happy with the results, there was still for improvement and with the time I had left before the music video was truly due thats what I did. If I felt that a scene should be reshot or edited more thats what I did. By doing this, I would make my film look better as I improved the shots took and the smoothness of the film. I believe making these changes truly helped my film as developed the storyline. One of the main reasons why I decided to change a few scenes is because of how I felt with them. Looking over the film and being "ok" with a scene didn't fit right with me and thats why I decided to change it by redoing them to improve camera quality and camera angles to better fit the screen.
